Just Five Minutes

One partner said they just needed five minutes. The other started a phone timer like it was a binding contract. Somewhere between aisle two and the claw machines, five minutes quietly became twelve, then eighteen. They came back holding a Needoh soda stress toy like that had been the plan all along. The timer person sighed, then smiled, because leaving imizzu empty-handed was never really an option.
